26 Apr SoundAttribution
For live musicians and computer. The work explores the idea of climate activism and our collective social-environmental responsibility.
The soundtrack was created using material from interviews I did with climate scientists, civil activists, and from field recordings of demonstrations and other events. SoundAttribution is a work of music and sound, as much as a documentation project that tries to open up our (critical) listening to the world.
Although the dream-like quality of the music, everything is based on real people and current events. I tried to address a growing feeling of emergency and disaster while highlighting the work of those who chosen activism instead of indifference.
