Commissioned and played by Eutopia Ensemble →, 18 December 2021, Palazzo Tursi (Genova)

The soundtrack is based on processed speech samples of politicians talking about climate issues (among others, Boris J., Donald T., Italian PM Mario D.). In response to the ensemble’s call for works for their program The Smell of Protest, I tried to present a critical viewpoint of the way politicians make false promises regarding climate policies, misleading and creating empty facades based on pseudo technological optimism.
